Best friends who work in NYC and live in NJ, work hard, play hard, and love hard. Long buried secrets and family commitment’s make keeping love difficult. The City Lights Series. (City Lights Book 1) amzn.to/YibAcT (City Lights Book 2) http://amzn.to/1CVq9BA

Take a closer look at Perfect For Her, book 2 in the City Lights Series

Energetic and motivated Angela Carnes landed her dream job in NYC as an editor for a news show and she loves it. Her career is going much better than her love life. After a breakup with Mr. Wrong, she’s determined to leave the past behind. Angela just didn’t expect the best man at her friend’s wedding to be so damn hot. Dr. Eric Bradley has a body to die for, a dynamite personality and he’s recently partnered with a medical team. What’s not to want?

Eric is determined to have it all. He graduated from medical school at the top of his class, renovated his own home and landed a spot in an established family practice. Now it’s time to get back into the dating world, IF the woman he wants sticks around when she learns about his situation at home.

Angela and Eric discover the spark between them during the wedding preparations. Their attraction is hard to deny, Angela finds herself lost in Eric’s passionate embrace. But after the reception, everything changes. Love blossom and then…wilts. Will she be able to step aside while Eric honors his family obligations or will the lonely nights and broken promises force Angela to leave behind the man
she knows is perfect for her?

The books she’d read on relationships preached to be mysterious, not clinging. You never knew what worked. It really was all up to the chemistry and timing. Tonight the connection felt right.

“I’ll check my schedule at the office and be sure to put a weekend aside for a day at the beach.”

“Sounds like fun.” He’d indicated another date. Was it all too good to be true? She didn’t want to blink and wake up if this was a dream.

“There’s nothing like NYC. I’m happy I had a business meeting here today. It was lucky for me you wanted a muffin and a cup of coffee.” He turned to face her and smiled, the dimple in his chin more defined.

She offered a demure grin and shook her head in agreement. “I’m happy for my cravings for sweets.” Angela lifted her shoulders and pouted her lips, realizing it might look like she was teasing. Even though her strong physical attraction to him weakened her knees, she tried to remain poised. Then their eyes met. Eric leaned in and pulled her close. He placed one hand on the side of her face and covered her mouth with his. His after five stubble grazed her chin, and he kissed her with an unforgettable longing that took her by surprise. She parted her lips and quivered from head to toe. His lips were soft and his tongue darted in her mouth without warning. Her panties moistened. The fire in his kiss and the way his strong arms felt wrapped around her back made her lightheaded. She stood on her toes, and under the lights next to Macy’s window, Angela ran her fingers through the back of Eric’s hair and didn’t resist when he pressed his chest up against hers and nuzzled her neck. Meshed together under the spotlight, a flash of heat shot through her body. It seemed as if they were alone in the midst of the busy city streets. A man sprinted past them and bumped into Eric and the spell was broken, but it was a memorable moment that validated how much she wanted him even more. She took a tiny step back, still in a daze.

“You look so beautiful tonight. You’re driving me crazy,” Eric whispered, his voice hoarse and sexy. “Let’s get going, or I’m going to sweep you up and carry you away.” His words sounded like something out of a fairy tale.

“I might like that.” She gave a tiny grin.

“Oh, you would? Come here.” He grabbed her around her waist and brought her into him. They headed toward the parking lot.

“I’ll have to make a point to thank Rob and Savannah when they get back.”

“What for?”

“For bringing us together. If they hadn’t added me to the guest list, I would’ve never met you,” he admitted.

“Aww. Thanks!” Angela shared the same emotions. “I guess you have a good point there. What were the chances of an editor at a news and celebrity show hooking up with a doctor starting his career in medicine? Definitely unexpected.”

“Is that a good thing?”

“It’s a wonderful thing. Not that I’ve dated jerks or losers.” She giggled. “I meet mostly men in the business or in an associated field, working at a television station.”

“You don’t get out much, do you?” Eric joked.

“Very funny.” She swatted his arm in a playful gesture.

“I’m only fooling with you.”
“Yeah, sure.” She laughed.
“Here we are.” Eric led the way to his car. He

opened the door on the passenger side. Angela got in and took note of his attentive approach. A warm feeling of comfort filled her spirit.

An Erie Operetta Novella 2 in the Lake Erie series
Erotic M/M Shifter Romance
V.L. Locey

Templeton Reed, skunk shifter, is having trouble sharing a mansion with wolf shifters, even if one is his beloved Mikel, the alpha of the pack. Winter has settled over Lupei mansion and cabin fever is pushing the pack into rowdy behavior. To counter the boredom, and to instill some decorum into his fellow wolves, Mikel announces a trip to the opera is in order.

At first, Templeton is thrilled to be attending such a prestigious event. He is, after all, a lesser breed, and has never been privy to such glamorous entertainment. Sadly, what starts out as a night of opulence and refinement turns into a murder mystery when Templeton discovers a body in the cheap seats. Who, or what, has killed one of the elite of the Lake Erie shifter community? Who is the stranger that arrives to oversee the murder investigation and why is he insisting on staying at Lupei Manor? Will Templeton survive long enough to see act two?

Then, and only then, did I wiggle out of the side of the duvet to land on the cold bedroom floor on my hands and knees. I stood up quickly, my cock jutting out proudly. Mikel opened one sleepy golden eye, saw my erection, flashed me a smile filled with fang, then leaped off the bed. Toweringly tall, wide-shouldered and lean of waist, Mikel carried over three hundred pounds on his six-foot, seven-inch frame with magnificent masculinity. Even his damned toes were buff. I squeaked playfully and ran. This is a fun game for a lycan. Sometimes it's fun for me as well, as long as I know the wolf breathing down my neck will be fucking me and not gutting me. That is a major distinction for a prey animal.

I skittered around the bed, my hand on the tall poster that rose off the footboard. Mikel's big foot hit a small throw rug. He sailed past me, eyes as well as mouth wide, pawing in the air until his hand landed on his dresser. Cologne, a wristwatch, and a jewel box sailed off the top as the dresser lurched upward to try to support his weight.

I was giggling like a schoolgirl when I streaked out into the hall, my balls flapping in the wind. I had stopped and was in the process of turning to taunt the great hunter when a football slammed into my nose. I saw brilliant white flashes, a couple bright dots, and then blackness.

When I came to, I was back in bed with the blankets up to my chin and a cold compress on my nose. Three rather contrite-looking men stood at the foot of the bed. I placed my hand on the compress. I could taste blood on my tongue.

"How are you feeling, Templeton?" Mikel asked sheepishly, or as sheepishly as a wolf can. He had gotten dressed while I was in La-La Land. Jeans and a thick blue sweater suited him. I sat up. My head began throbbing violently. I lay back down, the icy compress on my tender nose.

"You were supposed to catch it," Dave said, holding the offending pigskin in one hand. "I mean, I did yell to you to be like Jerry Rice. Didn't you hear me?"

"No, I didn't," I said, then frowned. My nose was plugged with dried blood. I sounded congested. "Who the hell is Jerry Rice?"

"Oh man, he is like one of the most famous running backs in--"

I cut off Eddie with a sharp look. "I don't care about hockey!"

"It's football, not hockey," my lover gently corrected. The two goons in Levi Strauss and officially licensed team logo shirts looked down at their huge feet. "I'm just saying that if you're going to live among lycans, you should know the difference between football and hockey, Templeton."

"And you baboons should know how to behave inside! I know that the call of the wild is strong with you wolves, and that being cooped up inside this mansion isn't conducive to good behavior. But, on the other hand, we are not living in Norway with the Vikings. We are modern men, not slobbering pillagers intent on killing, raping, looting, and playing football inside a mansion!" I yelled, instantly hating how much I sounded like some medieval fishwife. I think I was haranguing. I did not wish to be a haranguer.

"I would love to pillage," Eddie said with a grin that crinkled his scarred face and lit his gentle eyes. Dave agreed instantly, his eyes glowing with the ancient need to engage in bloodletting. Mikel cleared his throat, ending the wistful talk of the lycan homelands.

"They meant no harm, Templeton," the alpha repeated. I swear, I am going to get a t-shirt printed up for Mikel with that platitude printed on it. Both men nodded enthusiastically. "You're correct, though. I have been letting them run wild and it has to stop. The long winter is making us cabin-fevered and restless. Our minds are slipping, allowing our baser nature to come out."

"Exactly," I said. "What we need is some class, refinement, and decorum to remind us of what proper gents you three can be."

"I don't like ties," Eddie muttered under his breath.

"Suits make me chafe," Dave whispered to the side.

Mikel nodded in understanding. "Yes, I know, being confined in tight clothing isn't the way of the young lycan." He padded around the bed, removed my compress, then ran a hand over my head, smoothing my hair from my brow. "But this is something you must learn. Being civil and refined is our way of life now. So, to that end, I think I will call the opera house to see what production is coming next."

"Opera?" both subordinates moaned.

How could anyone be miserable in paradise? Carrie Samuels could write a book about it. Far away from her family and friends, she’s fled to Isla Mujéres hoping to escape a relentless stalker who knew how to torment and leave no calling card. What started out as a short-term solution has turned into a long-term jail sentence on a tropical island.
Painfully handsome, with a killer smile and well-hewn body, Dillon McMahon left his past behind and plans to spend the rest of his life off the grid on Isla Mujéres, the perfect place to dig in. Living next door to a sexy, quirky, and mysterious woman makes it all the sweeter.
When Carrie and Dillon’s pasts collide with the present, it threatens their budding relationship and sends them into a maelstrom of danger, abduction, and attempted murder. Sometimes, no matter how far you run, you just can’t hide.

“Change your name, and your hair color. Then move far away from here and lay low. I’m sorry, but at this point, that’s the best advice I can offer you.”
Laura slumped in the rickety wooden seat next to the detective’s desk and pounded her sweaty palms against the armrests. He couldn’t be giving up on her case! But the truth of the situation mocked her with every hopeless word the defeated man spoke. Just like all the others, he’d been bested. One psychopath had managed to render New York’s finest and a host of private detectives impotent.
“I don’t understand. How can this monster make my life a living hell day after day and not get caught? How can he continue to terrorize me like this and not leave any trace of who he is?”
Detective Roberts gnawed on a sunflower seed and spit the remnants into a paper cup. Had he gotten a little grayer around the temples since the last time she’d been to the station? “He knows what he’s doing, how to play the game. I’m thinking he could be one of us, or someone who’s been in law enforcement. It’s uncanny the way he can do so much and not slip up. It’s pissing me off.”
You’re pissed?” she scoffed. “What about me? According to you, my life is about to be over as I know it.” She grabbed a tattered tissue from her purse and blew her nose. As she took a quick look in the makeup mirror, her complexion told a sorry story of incessant stress and sleep deprivation. What a mess. She plunged the mirror back into her bag and noticed paper clips strewn across his desk. One by one she gathered them into rows and columns. Then she gathered each row and deposited them back into the paper clip holder.
“Listen, I’m not giving up on you or on trying to find the sick bastard. I just think it would be best for you to disappear into a whole new life. As long as your stalker remains a mystery, it’s not safe for you to be… you. I could suggest what I’m sure all the others have— change your routines, move to another part of the city, or hire security…”
“I’ve done all that already, and he’s still around.”
“The last, most severe response is to skip town and start fresh somewhere else. Keep a low profile in some invisible job where nobody knows who you really are.”
“Do you realize what you’re asking me to do? I own a thriving book store. I have family and friends. I can’t just give it all up. Then he wins.”
“Isn’t he winning now?”
She raised a brow and turned away, preferring to straighten the various piles of paper on his desk and align each container to another rather than face the truth.
